It seems that the run up and extended trip to Australia took a big chunk out of Autumn this year. Already the temperatures are starting to fall and just today the Christmas trees are down from Quebec, ready for the holiday season.

However, despite a shortened Fall, there was lots to get up to. It started out with a very fun Halloween Party, the theme being 80s Horror. Vanessa was very Dynasty while Matt harkened back to his 80's Coffs Harbour roots with muscle shirt, spiked hair and rolled up torn jeans. Cyndi Lauper, Bjorn Bjork, Adam Ant, Bon Jovi and Dr. Frank-N-Furter all joined us for a great night.

.

In addition to an enormous Thanksgiving meal, we were lucky enough to kick off the Holiday season by participating in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade with our friend Lisa. As balloon handlers for one of the parade's enormous historical balloons, we marched down Central Park West and Broadway with Frieda the Daschund floating high above us. Cheesy but great fun, and something you don't get to do every day.

Central Park was glorious as usual with its beautiful fall foliage.
